At Pure Skin Aesthetics & Permanent Makeup, we believe great results start with choosing the right treatment – not simply the newest treatment or the same treatment everyone else is getting.
Located in Burnsville, Minnesota, Pure Skin is a medical spa specializing in corrective skincare, advanced laser and skin treatments, permanent makeup, and cosmetic injectables.
Our approach is personalized and straightforward. We take the time to understand what you’re hoping to improve, evaluate your skin and talk honestly about what is, and what isn’t, likely to give you the result you’re looking for.
Sometimes that means recommending the treatment you came in asking about. Sometimes it means recommending something completely different.
Our goal isn’t to sell you a treatment. It’s to create a plan that makes sense for you and your skin.

Pure Skin is a group of women, and Bill, who each bring different training, experience and specialties to the practice.
What we have in common is our commitment to continuing education, personalized care and being honest about what we think will, and won’t, work for you.
Jaime Rubenstein
Owner | Permanent Makeup Artist | Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist, | Certified Laser Technician | Certified Plasma Pen Technician.
Jaime founded Pure Skin with a passion for helping people feel confident in their skin while creating an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable and never intimidating.
She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Permanent Makeup Artist and Certified Laser Technician, with additional training in aesthetic technologies and treatments.
As the owner, Jaime is particularly passionate about corrective skincare, advanced laser treatments permanent makeup and creating personalized treatment plans rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Her favorite treatments to perform are Powder Brows, Laser Tattoo Removal, and Tixel Skin Resurfacing.
Continuing education is an important part of Jaime's approach. She stays current on new technologies and treatment techniques so Pure Skin can continue offering thoughtful, evidence-informed options to clients. .
When she's not working, she loves to travel, spend time with her family and her 2 dogs (Rick Grimes and Athena), and go to MN Wild games.
Jen Hanson
Advanced Practice Esthetician | Certified Laser Technician
Jen has over 10 years of experience in the Aesthetics and skincare industry.
She is passionate about helping clients understand their skin and creating realistic treatment plans that fit both their goals and their lifestyle.
Consultation and education are two of Jen's strengths. She believes clients should understand why a treatment or product is being recommended, not simply be handed a list of things to buy.
Her approach is honest, individualized and focused on creating achievable results.
Kimberly Roelofs
Esthetician | Certified Laser Technician | Plasma Pen Certified
Kimberly brings years of experience in aesthetics, with a particular passion for laser and corrective skin treatments.
She specializes in treatments including IPL, laser skin resurfacing and microneedling, and enjoys helping clients address pigmentation, texture and other visible skin concerns.
Kimberly takes an educational approach with her clients and enjoys helping them understand what their skin needs and why.
Ann Rognerud
Nurse Injector (RN) | Aesthetic Provider
Ann is a Registered Nurse with 14 years of clinical experience, now embarking on an exciting journey into aesthetic nursing.
Driven by a genuine passion for helping clients feel their best. Ann is thrilled to focus her expertise on neurotoxin injections, bringing the latest techniques and a keen attention to detail to each treatment.
Ann is committed to continued training and works closely with experienced aesthetic providers as she continues expanding her expertise.
Her approach is thoughtful, detail-oriented and focused on helping clients achieve results that look like themselves.
Bill Joy
Nurse Injector (RN)
Bill Joy, RN, has worked in the Aesthetic Skin Care industry for over 25 years. He has received extensive training in the U.S. and abroad, holds innumerable training certifications in aesthetic skin care, and has been involved in developing cosmetic skin care products. Bill specializes in dermal fillers, neuromodulators, biostimulators, PDO threads, and laser treatments. He continually evaluates new information about procedures to guide clients in choosing and tailoring the best treatment program for their needs.
His commitment to exceptional customer service and keen attention to detail has resulted in a loyal following of clients not only locally but throughout the U.S. Bill is highly regarded throughout the US as one of the top injectors in the country and is always current on the latest technology and procedures.
Annika Crosby
Medical Director (MD)
Dr. Annika Crosby is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and has worked in Internal Medicine since 1993. She did her Internal Medicine residency, including an additional year as a Chief Medical Resident, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Her work in the medical field includes experience in a medical clinic, more than 15 years as a hospitalist caring for acutely ill patients, and ongoing work in post-acute care for medically ill patients. Dr. Crosby has received extensive training in dermal fillers, neuromodulators, and laser treatments in the US and Canada, and has teamed with prominent dermatologists to publish research in the field of dermatology.
Dr. Crosby is certified in teaching and training aesthetic procedures including: Threads, Fillers, Neurotoxins, and Laser.
Marie Sevcik
Advanced Practice Aesthetician | Certified Laser Technician | Phlebotomist | Licensed Massage Therapist
Marie is a seasoned professional with over 20 years in the med spa industry. She studied at the Aveda Institute, MSCTC, National Laser Institute, an MedSpa Institute of America.
Marie enjoys helping people with many different skin and body concerns and creating change. Her favorite treatments being microneedling, IPL laser treatments, and massage therapy.
Marie also loves continuing education and jokes about being in school of life. She hopes to someday pursue a nursing degree to be able to add more treatment options to her belt.
She is excited to be part of the Pure Skin team and to continue her growth.

Skin and laser treatments include Tixel, PicoLazer, IPL, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, Glo2facial, and Plasma Pen, along with personalized skincare recommendations.

Permanent Makeup
Permanent makeup is one of the areas Pure Skin is built around.

Our aesthetics team offers neuromodulators and dermal fillers, with an emphasis on natural-looking results and individualized treatment plans.
